The Global Learning Laboratory (GLL) is a state of the art language learning laboratory which uses digital technology to enhance language learning. The facility earned an information technology award from the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities' Leadership Council in 2004.

The Global Learning Laboratory (GLL), located in ML47 in the Lower Level of Memorial Library in the Educational Resource Center (ERC), is a digital audio/video learning facility with 42 computers and 1 instructor workstation. It has seating for 50 in a traditional room layout. The system has dual projection systems with large screens, a Smartboard, a document camera, a laptop connection, a cable TV connection, a satellite feed, and a VCR. In addition, there are 4 Tandberg stations with earphones.
