help you in your academic research. Reference librarians provide reference
and information services to on and off campus faculty and students. |

- Answer questions about
the library and its services
- Answer basic information questions
- Help you locate resources for assignments and research projects
- Provide assistance in using online & print indexes and resources
- Suggest approaches for defining research topics

| In Person | Come
to the Reference Desk on the Library's first floor. The desk is staffed
most hours the library is open during academic sessions, including weekends.
Hours will vary when classes are not in session. |

Consultation | If
you have several questions or need more extensive help, you may request
an appointment with a reference librarian. Call (507) 389-5958 or request
a consultation. |
| Electronically | For
questions about the library, its resources, or brief questions. Reference
staff will respond within one or two working days.
