About the Educational Resource Center of Minnesota State University



The Educational Resource Center, or ERC, houses a variety of the Memorial Library's special collections supporting the curriculum at MSU. Collections include juvenile books as well as audio-visual and non-print materials. Audio-visual equipment and related services are also available in the ERC.

Equipment Services & Classrooms

Audiobooks

  • Books that are recorded on audio cassettes or CDs
  • Children's, young adult, and adult fiction and non-fiction
  • Primarily unabridged versions
  • Some high interest, low reading level audiobooks
  • Some audiobooks are recorded at a slower speaking pace (SteadyReaders)

Motion Pictures

  • DVD, Video, Laser Disc, and Film collections
  • Educational titles and feature films supporting the MSU curriculum
