Project Overview

The MSU University Archives, a unit of Library Services, is conducting an oral history project to document the Wilson Campus School Experience. We are looking for former students, faculty, staff and others with a connection to the school to participate in this project. The MSU Archives staff will strive to interview individuals from 1959-1977.

As the result of your generous donations, the MSU Archives is able to dedicate a graduate assistant, Mark Sheehy, to the project for the 2008-2009 academic year,

How to Participate

• Be Interviewed by Archives Staff
  The University Archives will be conducting and coordinating oral histories. Please contact Mark Sheehy, University Archives Graduate Assistant, if you are interested in being interviewed, 507-389-5462.
• Be Interviewed by Someone Else/Conduct Interviews
  With so many people connected to Wilson Campus School, it will be challenging for the University Archives staff to interview all that would like to participate. The University Archives has developed a project packet that anyone can use to interview a participant.

What Happens to the Interviews?

All interviews will be added to the University Archives and made available to researchers in an effort to document the University's history.

Donating Materials to the Archives

The University Archives does accept donations of Wilson Campus School memorabilia, student organizational records, and other items. Please contact Daardi Sizemore, Archives and Special Collections Librarian and visit our donations page before sending anything.
