Oral Histories at Minnesota State University, Mankato
The University Archives and the Southern Minnesota Historical Center are actively conducting two oral history projects. The purpose of these projects is to document the personal experiences of individuals from South Central Minnesota. Oral histories capture the individual experience which adds to our collective understanding of the past.
In collaboration with the Veteran's History Project, the Southern Minnesota Historical Center is conducting an oral history project to document experiences of Americans during World War I and II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Persian Gulf Wars.
The University Archives is conducting an oral history project to document the experiences of the alumni, faculty, employees, and current students of Minnesota State University, Mankato.
The University Archives is conducting an oral history project to document the Wilson Campus School experience of former students, faculty, staff and others with a connection to the school.
