Abstract:

This collection contain Selma Bachman's diary from her time at the Mankato State Normal School. In her diary, she has pictures of Mankato, programs of events she attended, and letters from those who wrote to her.

BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:

Selma Bachman was from Young America, Minnesota. She was admitted to the Latin Class in September 1907, at the age of sixteen. She graduated from Mankato State Normal School on June 1, 1911. She found a job teaching seventh grade in Zumbrota, Minnesota.

Scope and Content:

This collection contain Selma Bachman's diary from her time at the Mankato State Normal School. In her diary, she has pictures of Mankato, programs of events she attended, and letters from those who wrote to her.
