The Lyle (Spike) Haskell collection contains a cassette copy and a transcription of an oral history interview conducted between Marcia Mason and Haskell in the fall of 1974. In the interview, Haskell recalled his career as a musician in Minnesota. Haskell played in numerous orchestras based in Mankato, Minnesota that traveled throughout Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
