The Mark Schuck collection consists of an audio recording, biographical form, and interview outline of an oral history interview conducted between Schuck and Mark Sheehy in June 2008. Schuck taught at Wilson Campus School from 1968-1977. In this interview, Schuck talks about being a student teacher at Wilson Campus School, the students he worked with and what he did after Wilson.

This oral history interview was conducted as part of the Wilson Campus School Oral History Project conducted by the Southern Minnesota Historical Center at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Biographical Note:

Mark Schuck was born February 28, 1947 in Nicollet, Minnesota. He graduated from Nicollet High School and attended Mankato State College for his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Health. Schuck went on to get his Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Mankato State College, and during this time Schuck student taught at Wilson Campus School. Schuck continued to work at Wilson Campus School until it closed in 1977. Schuck went on to work at Mankato State College in the athletic department as a coach for track, cross country and basketball. Schuck also taught physical education at Mankato State College, and was promoted to head coach of the track and cross country teams. Schuck still holds this position today. Schuck married in 1967 and the couple have two daughters. Schuck helped in getting the indoor track in the Myers Field House. In 2010, Schuck was awarded the Harold J. Fitter Service to MSU Award.
