The Leilah Anderson collection consists of an audiocassette and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Anderson and Carol Lindenfelser during November 1985. In the interview, Anderson, who began her career as a rural school teacher in 1946, discussed the changes that occurred between 1946 and 1985. Furthermore, Anderson talked about school consolidation, the evolution of curricula, and the areas of continuity during her years as an educator.
This oral history interview was conducted as a requirement for a course entitled History of Education in American Culture at Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota.
