Stone, Esther B. Oral History Interview, 22 October and 25 November 1984. SMHC Manuscript Collection 1477. 1 folder and 1 audiocassette.
The Esther B. Stone collection consists of an audiocassette and transcript for an oral history interview conducted between Esther Stone and Colette Stone during the autumn of 1984. Esther Stone worked as an elementary teacher at a Catholic school in New Ulm, Minnesota between 1955 and 1968. In the interview, Stone discussed her role as an educator with large class enrollments. While she believed too many students made her job more difficult, Stone believed she fulfilled the needs of her students.
This oral history interview was conducted as a requirement for an Educational Foundations course at Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota.
