The Carl Aanonsen collection consists of an audiocassette and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Aanonsen and Dennis Hitzemann during the winter of 1987. In the interview, Aanonsen, a high school social studies teacher in St. Peter, Minnesota, discussed the areas of change and continuity concerning his profession between 1957 and 1987.
This oral history interview was conducted as a requirement for a course entitled Current Issues in Public Education at Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota.
