The Dwight W. Davis collection consists of an audiocassette and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Davis and Michael Martin during the winter of 1987. Davis had worked as a coach, teacher, and administrator in the years preceding his employment as principal at Fairfax, Minnesota. In the interview, Davis mentioned his career experiences in the Minnesota towns of Long Prairie, Rush City, and Fairfax. Furthermore, he discussed various topics that affect schools and his efforts to promote staff development.
This oral history interview was conducted as a requirement for a course entitled Current Issues in Public Education at Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota.
