Abstract:

This collection consists of a paper written about the Hodapp Mansion in North Mankato, Minnesota. The paper was written by Dennis Hagen in 1966. Hagen describes his great grandfather's move to the United States from Germany, his years of operating a drug store in Mankato, pioneer life in the Mankato area, and the house he built near Spring Lake in North Mankato. Photographs and copies of the land deeds for the home are also included with the paper.
