Abstract:

This collection consists of a family history written by Theodore Nydahl, a professor of history at Mankato State University. The booklet presents the family history of the Nydahls, and the Ryghs, which were the family of Theodore Nydahl's mother. The two families' moves from Norway to America, and subsequently Minnesota, are described in this volume. The families settled in Goodhue County, Minnesota, and later in Blue Earth County, near Mankato, Minnesota.
