This collection consists of items from Harriet MacDonald, formerly of Mankato, Minnesota. The collection contains personal items, an oral history recording, and a transcript of an interview by conducted by Karin Thiem with MacDonald in July 1977. In the interview, MacDonald reminisced about her home at 320 Park Lane, Mankato and her family's activities. Three letters written by MacDonald regarding the National Retired Teachers Association, membership lists for that organization, and a newspaper clipping about a meeting of the NRTA are included in the collection. In addition, the collection includes a newspaper clipping from 1973, about the 19th century home that MacDonald lived in.
