This collection consists of a booklet authored by Thomas Sinks. In the booklet, Sinks traces his family's genealogy from its roots in Germany ca. 1000 through the 1970's in the United States. The volume is bound, contains photocopies of some family documents, and is 81 pages.
Thomas Sinks was born on 21 January 1915 in West Frankfort, Illinois. He received his Bachelor of Education degree from Southern Illinois University and his Master of Education and doctorate from the University of Illinois. He was employed as a principal in Illinois before moving to Mankato in 1969. While in Mankato, Sinks was a professor of education at Mankato State University. Thomas Sinks died in January of 1979.
