The Extended Campus/Continuing Education collection contains class schedules, brochures, correspondence, memoranda, a history of the office, and information about the Center for Continuous Learning. The bulk of these documents are schedules that have been arranged chronologically. The Extended Campus office began during 1942, but materials in this collection date from 1957 through the present.
This collection has been divided into three series: Class Schedules, Subject Files, and Miscellaneous Papers and Reports. Documents in this collection have been arranged chronologically and alphabetically.
Class Schedules, 1962-Ongoing: Schedules in this series are not inclusive there are large gaps during the 1960s, 1980s, and 1990s. Throughout the years, class schedule booklets have had a number of different names.
Series Two: Subject Files, 1965-1980: Included in this series are papers that contain primarily correspondence and memoranda but also minutes for the extended campus advisory council and information on the committee for continuing education. This series also includes the start of the International Center at Mankato State College and Mankato State University. Much of this was done through the Extended Campus office.

Miscellaneous Papers and Reports, 1957-2003: This series includes a history of the Extended Campus/Continuing Education Office and brochures about the program and the Center for Continuous Learning.
