Abstract:

The Placement Center Student Records collection consists of approximately 3,000 information cards about students who attended Mankato State Normal School and Mankato State Teachers College. These cards are restricted for general use but some information is available upon request. Information contained on these cards varies but generally contains the individual's name, age, birthplace, religion, comments about the student's appearance by school staff, the courses the person is capable of teaching, and other miscellaneous personal data.
