RESPONSIBILITIES:

To work for the benefit of library, campus and community by coordinating Access Services, offering library instruction, developing music reference and psychology collections and working on special projects as needed. Responsibilities include:

  • Management of library circulation functions
  • Coordination of extended campus services offered by the library
  • Supervision of Access Services staff
  • Coordination of training and scheduling of student assistants
  • Oversight of specific service needs and physical access considerations within the library
  • Involvement in library public relations and outreach
  • Instruction for English, Speech, First Year Experiences, Music, Music Education, community and school groups
  • Creation of worksheets and subject bibliographies for use in conjunction with library instruction
  • Miscellaneous handouts/guides on information resources
  • Participation in special committees within the library and on campus
