Responsibilities:
As the Government Documents Technician
, I am responsible for administering the materials for the government documents
collection. I prepare government agency items for appropriate processing,
making
claims and corrections as necessary. I maintain the collection, working with
the Government Documents Librarian in pulling superseded and outdated materials.
It is also my responsibility to supervise and train the government document
student assistants. I also maintain our website "Government Documents
Display Clearinghouse," as well as construct monthly government document
displays at Memorial Library.
